Aliesa Gilstrap

Aliesa joined the Poplar Springs ministry staff in January of 2024.  Having graduated with a degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina, she enjoyed a rich career in advertising prior to the Lord leading her to full-time ministry.  She served for almost 10 years as the Director of Childrens and Womens Ministries at her church in Florida prior to moving to King and making Poplar Springs her home church. Married to her high school sweetheart, Ken, they share two sons and seven amazing grandchildren.  She is passionate about her family and people, especially those searching for a deeper relationship with Christ.
